Images that need verses page 3

There’s a lady who’s sure all that glitters is gold… I wouldn’t be me if I could see a thin shaft of light like that on a subject and not grab for my camera! A pain to process and get the feel just right, but worth it for me. Taken by Gregg Webb.

Winter Sun. Trees in Bedford Park catch the last of the December afternoon sun. Taken by Gregg Webb.

Winter Morning. Some old work I found lurking on my hard disk that I’d never got round to processing. Glad I did :-). Taken by Gregg Webb.

CHARITY PRINT AUCTION FOR HAITI: Lone Tree. Auction closed, thanks everyone. Bedfordshire was blanketed by snow. Offices were closed, roads were almost empty and had to be driven down very carefully or not at all.

And yet I kept wanting to shoot this tree. Nowhere near anything, away from roads that had any chance of being clear; sheet ice all the way in fact. Prudent travellers stayed well away.

But when I got there I knew exactly why I’d wanted to shoot it. Taken by Gregg Webb.

Coming Home. Taken by Gregg Webb.

Felmersham. A location I like so much it’s programmed into my satnav to make it even easier to reach 🙂 . Taken by Gregg Webb.

Hard at work. Taken by Gregg Webb.

River Great Ouse and Bedford Embankment in Winter. Such a familiar view, but with so much ice on the river it takes on a different character. Rowing practice definitely cancelled! Taken by Gregg Webb.

Suspension Bridge over River Great Ouse, Bedford in the Snow. The view from a bit downstream, I liked the way the bridge both framed the scene and blended in with its white girders. Taken by Gregg Webb.

Millbrook at Dusk. Millbrook, as seen over the hills from Houghton House, in the snow. Taken by Gregg Webb.

‘Keep Clear’ taken by Greg Webb. Skegness beach, just to the south of the town and looking south towards the Norfolk coast.
